Aberrant Vascular was contrived in 2003 by the chance meeting of Heikki and Lumi. From the very beginning the intention was to combine various styles of music, making something new and unheard of, something unique and personal. The genre became "Operatic Avantgarde Metal".
During the first period of the band's life two demos, Actaeon and Thyestes, were recorded. Both were well received by listeners all over the world.
After Thyestes a new era was about to begin.
Aberrant Vascular changed location to Helsinki and a new line-up was created. Pelopia, the band's third demo, was recorded and with it the band was moving outwards, exploring the great void that is avantgarde, finding themselves and the true nature that is Aberrant Vascular.
Aberrant Vascular consists of Heikki, Asa and Lumi. Currently the band is working on their debut long play: Aegisthus. Its release is scheduled for late summer/early fall 2010.
